What we fish for and when
FEB-MARCH
As we transition from winter to spring. This time of the year is great for catching Steelhead on the Columbia.
APRIL-MAY
This time of the year is excellent for catching oversized Sturgeon on the Columbia if the wind allows it.
JUNE-AUG
These summer months we will be targeting Sockeye & Chinook Salmon on the Upper Columbia.
SEPT-OCTOBERAs fall approaches, we will be fishing the Mid-Columbia for Fall Chinook & Coho Salmon.
YEAR-ROUNDCatch and release Sturgeon fishing is great year-round. Starting January 1st-April 30th you will have the opportunity for a keeper season, unless the quota is met.

Nate Hayes is not only your fishing guide, but he is also the Owner of Hayes Outdoor Adventures. Nate has been navigating the PNW waters since he was a young kid. Having many years of experience on the water, Nate is eager to get his clients out and teach them everything he knows. What was once a dream has now become his reality. Getting to do what he loves every chance he gets, make connections and FISH!
